AstroCET began in 2019 as a humble hobby club, a gathering of stargazers who wanted to look up together. Over the years, it has grown into a beacon of celestial exploration — nurturing a deep camaraderie among students while diving into the technical facets of the cosmos.
From hosting public sky-gazing events to running cutting-edge workshops in AI/ML for space science, AstroCET bridges the gap between engineering talent and astronomical wonder.

Astrophotography Workshop
Hosted in collaboration with CET Shutterbugs and AASTRO Kerala, led by renowned expert Sarath Prabhavu J. Participants learned to capture the night sky with stunning precision.
Expedition Aditya — Solar Probing Workshop
In collaboration with Shastra Snehi, focused on solar probing and sunspot viewing, bringing together experts and participants to explore the Sun's dynamic activity.
GBFK Outreach Program
AstroCET's outreach at the Global Science Festival Kerala featured Dr. Sarita Vig from IIST, followed by a sky-gazing session in collaboration with the Breakthrough Science Society.
AI/ML for Space Exploration
A standout workshop by AstroCET and HT Labs India. Over 70 participants learned Python-based data analysis and ML applications in astronomy using real astronomical datasets.
